Prof. Surya Bhan, is former Head of Orthopedics Department, Chief of Emergency Services and Chief of Trauma Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi. With over 30 years of experience in teaching and training orthopaedic surgeons. He is a world renowned joint replacement surgeon with experience of having performed over 20,000 joint replacements surgeries. He has provided orthopaedic treatment to the President, Vice president and three Prime Ministers of India. He has pioneered the establishment of the first dedicated Fresh Frozen Bone Bank in India, at AIIMS, New Delhi. Second similar bone bank facility has been established by him at Primus Super Speciality Hospital.

I had severe pain from hip to toe for the past 2-3 years. This caused so much difficulty to perform the daily chores. Seeing my pain, my friend who had got her Bilateral TKR done at Primus Hospital, suggested me to come for a consultation with Dr. Surya Bhan. Looking at my friends recovery after the surgery, made me realize that Joint Replacement Surgery is nothing to be afraid of. My both knee replacement in 2014. Dr. Bhan is really god for me. Very good behavior and self spoken. I was admitted for 10 days. Daily he come in room and almost suggests me and treats like a child.
