Dr. (Maj. Gen) AS Bath is a living legend, a pioneer in the field of cosmetic surgery in the country. He started his career when cosmetic surgery was in its infancy in the country. His jest for learning took him to all quarters of the globe where he spent time mastering the craft from the leading stalwarts of the time. He has an experience of 32 years behind him. Over a period of time he has devised his own innovations in several surgeries which have won him accolades from all across the globe. Exceptionally brilliant in academics, for he has received various awards (Brilliant Student Scholarship - 1969 to 1971, National Travelling Fellowship Plastic Surgery by APSI - 1988, Ethicon Fellowship Cosmetic Surgery by APSI - 1996). He has over 200 publications in various national and international journals. He has been into teaching for last 26 years, has been a master teacher who believes in passing on the knowledge and his experience to his students for which he is widely respected. He was earlier the Professor and Head of Department, Research & Referral Institute, New Delhi. He has been conferred upon the honourary title of APSI Visiting Professor Plastic Surgery in 2007 and is a National Faculty of APSICON since 2009. He has been delivering lectures and chairing sessions in various aesthetic surgery conferences all across the globe. His work has been lauded by all of the leading cosmetic surgeons of the world. He is a life member of International Society of Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery, The Association of Plastic Surgeons Of India, The Indian Association of Aesthetic Surgery and Hair Restorative Society of India. He had been the president of APSI (Delhi Chapter) from 2002-2004. For his distinguished services to his profession he was given the presidential award in 2002 by the then Honourable President of India Dr. APJ Kalam and in 2007 by the Honourable President of India Smt. Pratibha Patil. He has been conferred the Bharat Jyoti award 2010 for his contribution to civil society.
Dr. DJS Tulla is a young and dynamic plastic & cosmetic surgeon who has been trained in the illustrious Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (Cal).
